France 1/11-1/12

So eventually I made it into Marseille and then to Aix-en-Provence. It wasn't too bad getting from the airport to the Vanderbilt-in-France center, but I did feel proud of myself for successful taking a bus and a taxi solo, in France! This is only going to be a quick post because I'm tired, but I wanted to share some pictures.

bus from Marseille airport to Aix

this picture does absolutely nothing to show the beautiful background. It was a great first impression
my first pastry - a cake with apple stuff inside; it was delicious of course

one of the main fountains. Aix is really famous for its fountains, they're everywhere!
The following pictures are of the living room of my apartment. I feel like I'm living in a castle, the rooms are gigantic with super tall ceilings and its just beautiful. I'll add pictures of the rest of the apartment soon because I haven't taken any pictures of that yet.

the couch area

penelope cruz is hung on our wall. thus, we refer to the living room as the Penelope Room

the dining table/bookshelf/window and part of Penelope

View from the other side. The windows are gigantic and beautiful as well

Did I mention we have a courtyard/garden? I'm still in shock

Okay well that's all, I will add more soon. Hope you enjoyed the pictures as much as I enjoy taking them and seeing what's in them with my own eyes. I've been here two days and I'm already in love with this town.

Til next time!
